Dear Happy M5 Hosting Customer,

As part of our infrastructure improvement project, we will
be replacing 2 older Cisco Ethernet switches with a single newer,
faster, smarter, more secure units with multiple gigabit uplinks,
higher port density lower power consumption and heat production. This
upgrade will require that all servers in this one rack be
disconnected from the network for a few minutes while the new switch
is installed and new higher quality cabling is installed.

Not everyone will be affected. This scheduled maintenance
period will affect all shared hosting customers, about 30 dedicated
server customers and a small handful of colocation customers.
This upgrade will be staged in such a way as to minimize the
downtime for you. The work will take place during a 2 hour window on
Saturday night, but each server will be affected for no more than a
few minutes.

Who: All shared hosting customers. Dedicated Server and
Colocation customers who will be affected will be notified via email
within 24hrs from now.
What: Network outage during switch replacement
When: Maintenance to begin on Saturday 11/11/06 at 8:00pm
PST (Sunday 11/12/06 at 4:00am UTC/GMT/ZULU)
Duration: Each customer will be affected for less than 10
minutes (5 minutes expected), during a two hour window.

If you have any questions or comments relating to this
maintenance or this email, please feel free to send us an email. We
want to hear from you.

Thanks,
Mike
